Taekwondo4Fitness is a family-friendly martial arts school based in Aylesbury in the United Kingdom, offering online and venue-based services, like fitness, discipline and self-defence, in a fun and controlled environment. Students and their parents can be confident of being professionally trained to high standards.
Taekwondo4Fitness cooperates with the Independent Taekwondo Organisation (ITO), founded in 2009, and works with Korean Combat Martial Arts, ITF HQ and WT Kukkiwon HQ.
My name is Mario, and I come from Germany. My martial arts journey started in 1989 when I was 16 years old. I kept practising Taekwondo even if life often got in my way. Over the past 30 years, I have practised martial arts in different schools across Germany, Austria, Slovakia and the United Kingdom and had great mentors who taught me the various aspects of Taekwondo.
I never gave up and kept practising what I learned. When I couldn’t afford lessons, or my schedule didn’t allow it, I used additional resources, like videotapes, DVDs and books, to further educate myself in Korean martial art.
My goal is to inspire and motivate the youth and adults to become more active, make healthier choices, and share the experience of shaping oneself into a better person each and every day. My classes are affordable because I don’t want others to miss an opportunity I didn’t have.
My wife and I are very passionate about fitness, nutrition and a healthy, active lifestyle. We work hard to achieve our health and fitness goals. Continued education and further training are crucial for us to stay up-to-date with our knowledge and skillset.
I became an Instructor to help my students achieve their health and fitness goals with martial arts and maintain the Five Tenets of Taekwondo.
